It gives me an immense pleasure in welcoming you to B.K.M. Science College, Valsad, Gujarat. It was established by the great visionary Shri Ballubhai Krishnalal Majmudar in 1957. The college has successfully completed five decades. We are in the post modern era where science and technology are the corner stone on which the edifice of society rest.

Learning is an intense process which spreads from individual to the society. It does not stop at the level but keeps improving wider and faster. To be a centre of academic excellence for the pursuit of science education is the Vision, to impart quality science education for all dimensional growth of students is the Mission and excellent science education through diligence is the Goal of the college.

The college has excellent academic ambience with a calm and peaceful environment for teaching - learning process. We believe in simplicity with quality education. We do not make sky promises, but we understand ground realities and gives best education, with this understanding we plan our activities.

In an educational set up we know and understand the expectations and requirements at various stake holders : be it students, parents, faculty, industry, society and the nation. Our endeavor is always to come up to the expectations of all the stake holders. The college has a team of highly dedicated and knowledge rich faculty who are fully engaged in developing multiple skills in students. The college has high academic excellence and well known for it's discipline.

The college provide excellent infrastructure facilities with spacious lecture hall, modern laboratory, library, research laboratory, Botanical Garden, Herbarium, P.G. Bhavan, auditorium and play ground.

Our qualified staff is associated with high quality research activity. They regularly published research paper and participate in various conferences. Due to this, the institute has availed studies up to M.Phil and Ph.D Level. We encourage our student to take part in various curricular, extra curricular, cultural and sports activities in the college to bring out their talent potential. The college has N.S.S. and N.C.C. unit. Which has given an unique identity to the college.

In 1982-83 college received Best college award. In 2010 College was awarded certificate of appreciation in recognition of outstanding support given to SCOPE and soil health card program by K.C.G. In 2010 college was awarded district level second prize from blood donation centre, valsad for doing best activity for blood donation.
