Auditorium/Seminar Hall:

A well-equipped auditorium with seating for over 500 people serves as the venue for the regular conferences, workshops and seminars that are part of the learning process at B.K.M.Science College,Valsad.The auditorium hall is spacious, well ventilated.It is a venue for large conferences and seminars. It hosts a range of cultural activities.
The objective behind the auditorium is to enhance the quality of education. To make this possible, the auditorium offers facilities such as LCD projectors, screens for delivering lectures. It also provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in cultural activities.

Keeping in view the importance of Physical fitness and sports in today’s scientific era and its vitality in the shaping of individual’s personality and health and fitness, the college lays considerable emphasis on students participation in various games, sports and track and field activities. The spacious ground of the college is laid out into playfields for Cricket, Football,Volleyball, and Badminton etc.

Recognizing the importance of sports and games for the development of both body and mind, B.K.M. Science College,Valsadhas established comprehensive facility (Play Ground) for students. College has a sprawling Play ground which is at par with any cricket ground where Cricket, Hockey, football, Vollyball, KhoKho matches are played.

College has a huge sports ground where students meet for different kind of sport activities like cricket, football, volleyball basketball, hockey etc. Inter college competitions are regularly held in the ground and it is a great facility for athletes to practice running also.Sports is necessary in today’s world of stress and turmoil as only a fit body can promote mental agility and ensure learning. Sports ground is an essential part of every organization. Sports today offer many career opportunities also. With this view in mind we also think it our duty to refurbish our sports complex regularly. The pave ways and the ground are maintained. We take care also that locker rooms, change room facilities are provided for players, referees and judges etc.

The most important concern when designing a sports ground is the user which includes athletes, coaches, spectators, security staff, maintenance team and facilities with food facilities etc. Fortunately our playground is very user friendly and adjacent to the ground we have an easily accessible canteen where hygienic warm food is available when players and spectators need refreshments.

The parking lot is also adjacent to the ground so that athletes, players and spectators can easily walk to the venue after parking vehicles.

Girls Hostel

Living away from home in student accommodation a great way for you to make new friends and integrate quickly to college life.

B.K.M.Science College,Valsad provides comfortable hostel accommodation to the students within the institute premises. The campus consists of well built hostel blocks, both for girls and boys. Hostel consists of a mess, administrative office, warden quarter. In addition to well furnish rooms. Hostel rooms are allotted on "first come first serve basis".

Hostel building has been designed to create the perfect study environment as well as a place in which students can pursue their personal talents including sports and other extracurricular activities. All hostel facilities are located close to the college itself making it very convenient for all staff and students.           

It’s a second home which ensures that the students lives in a healthy safe and conductive environment.

Facilities:  Each room is provided with furniture needed by a student i.e. bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. basic furniture, hot water facilities, drinking water, study room, sick room. Ample and free parking space for vehicles.

 Food: Residents eat in a dining hall of the Boys and Girls Hostel Mess. 

Following is the procedure of admission to Boys and Girls Hostel 

 (1) Student seeking admission to hostel must have to file admission form to rector. 

 (2) After seeking admission to the College, the student shall meet the Rector in person and register the name for admission to hostel. 

 (3) Following details shall be mentioned in – Name, Class and Division. 

 (4) After getting Admission, the student shall pay the requisite fees.

 (5) The rector would allot the room while endorsing the form. 

 (6) Granting Admission to the Hostel is the discretion of the Rector and may reject the application for admission. The decision of such rejection shall be final and binding.   

 (7)  Ragging in all its forms are banned and treated as a cognizable offence. Any Student found guilty of ragging will be suspended and / or dismissed at the discretion of the management.

Health Club/Gymnasium:

As an institution dedicated to healthcare B.K.M. Science College, Valsad lays emphasis on providing excellent fitness facilities to the students. The college offers taluka leval gymnasium facilities in association with District Sports authority, Government of Gujarat to the students This takes the form of a well equipped  health club. The gymnasium at the health club is equipped with the latest fitness training equipment. The gym is equipped with multi-gym Smith machine, Breacher curls, arm machines, bench press, flat benches, bars, dumb-bells, plates, dip stands and host of other equipments for the students to utilize and stay fit and healthy.                                     

Canteen Facility:

A College Canteen is a vibrant place and a necessary part of an organization. Our College canteen keeps hygienic food and drinking water for students who come from far and near. All types of snacks, soft drinks, meals are available at subsidized rates.Students come here during free periods and have discussions on many important topics relevant for exams or just exchange ideas over a cup of tea/ coffee and sandwich dosa, hot toast paratha etc. Without a good canteen an academic institution cannot sustain.

The canteen is situated within the college campus. It is open for all and there is a adequate seating arrangement for staff and students. Canteen has a kitchen and kitchen staff take extra care to provide the students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in the campus canteen. We at BKM Science College are singularly fortunate to provide good subsidized quality food to students and staff alike

Mineral Water (RO) facility:

Ability to provide clean drinking water to students should be of utmost priority for any good organization. College has its own mineral water (RO) Plant in the college campus. In our College we have installed an RO water plant which provides clean pure drinking water to students, staff and hostel students also. The machine is serviced at regular intervals to keep it in good condition. Sometimes people from vicinity area also avail of the services with relevant permission from authorities. So it is a kind of service to larger community also. We are happy that at the end of the day our students, faculty and menial staff also are getting to drink pure unpolluted filtered water free from dirt and this improves their quality of life and general health.
