1)              ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  Ensure students and staff comply with the college’s code of conduct, academic policies, and ethical standards to maintain a respectful and orderly campus environment.

Ø  Investigate and resolve cases of misconduct, such as cheating, plagiarism, bullying, ragging, substance abuse, or disruptive behavior, ensuring fair and consistent handling of violations.

Ø  Foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, integrity, and responsibility by encouraging adherence to institutional values and promoting good behavior among students.

Ø  Conduct impartial inquiries into reported incidents, provide opportunities for all parties to be heard, and recommend appropriate actions or penalties based on evidence and institutional guidelines.

Ø  Actively work to prevent ragging, bullying, or any form of harassment, aligning with regulations like those of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India, which mandates strict anti-ragging measures.
